While I have said this before a time or two, what I have learned I value most throughout this program, are the connections I have made with people along the way. I have been exposed to so many wonderful individuals over these last 12 months, and have made it a personal goal of mine to keep these connections once our proximity to each other diminishes.
this value and personal goal of mine is what inspired my project for our 446 course models. I crafted a scarf with 17 squares, symbolizing myself and the 16 other students in the SY cohort. These squares, once united, turned into a scarf that will be passed on from person to person, with a notebook to share our teaching stories, as a way to stay connected as both professionals and friends.
I will always treasure these times spent with classmates, professors, and ultimately, friends.
