Experiential learning is an educational approach that emphasizes the active involvement of learners in the learning process through direct experience, reflection, and application of knowledge and skills. In this approach, students engage in hands-on experiences, real-world activities, or practical tasks that allow them to interact with the subject matter directly, rather than solely relying on traditional classroom instruction or lectures. The UNBC Education Program has incorporated experiential learning in so many of our courses, which will in return help us implement this teaching style in our future classrooms.
