Educators demonstrate a broad knowledge base and an understanding of areas they teach.
During my practicum, it became very evident how much preparation it takes to ensure that you are able to keep up with students’ learning and questioning! I spent the majority of my free time staying up-to-date with current events, content, and curriculum to ensure that I was able to support their learning as often as possible. While this can indeed get exhausting at times, it is exciting to know that the rest of my life will be spent expanding my knowledge in so many subject areas!
